Updates!

Sorry my blogs have not been consistent recently, its just Disney has me on a very busy schedule. I promise I will try to blog more. Well I am finally getting the hang of my job and absolutely love working at the Boardwalk Resort. I work with amazing people and have gotten to be close friends soo many people at work. I love the enviroment.

Everyday, I look forward to going into work. Now, that I have been here for over a month I feel more comfortable with my role. Each time I go into work I'm eager to see with store I am working in and what people I am working with. The best part to me is working with a good crew. Everyday, I meet new guests and recently Ive been seeing some of the same guests. I wear my name tag at work which shows the guest where I am from and what college I attend. This makes great conversation starters. I usually get asked where is Fisher College? Is it in Boston? I love answering that question with a yes. The other day while I was working in my favorite shop ESPN I met a guest and his family who was practically from my hometown. He lives two towns away from me and I got so excited when we discovered this. The guests also new college students who go to school in Boston.

I have been having some roommate issues at home. In the first month we all encountered a lot of drama and issues. I am living with six girls. Believe me its not an easy task. Currently, I get along with all but one roommate. But that one roommate is the one I share a room with which makes it ten times harder. So its sad to say this but I am moving out. Im still going to live in Patterson Court but with a friend of mine. Hopefully in a 2 or 3 bedroom. Im sooo stoked on this because I know it will let me enjoy this more! My friend from work and I are planning on living together.

I have discovered a lot of amazing places to visit in Orlando. A great place to go with friends is the House of Blues. I have gone here twice with some of my best co-workers. It is a lot of fun. Its located in Downtown Disney and you have to be 19 years or older. Check it out!

Well I better go for now because tomorrow I have a really early shift starting at 7:15 am. If there is anything anyone would like to know about being a CP let me know and I can try to answer it from experience.

Parks

I have been down here officially for one month. I have gone to every single park more than once. The four parks are Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. My favorite park is Animal Kingdom because I love the ride Expedition Everest. Its a roller-coaster. Studios has two great rides and lots of nice shops. The two great rides are rocken-roller coasters with Aero-Smith and tower of terror. I have gone one both many times now. Usually, I go to the parks on my days off. Magic Kingdom is known for Cinderella's castle and main street. Epcot is amazing because of all the different countries located there. As you can tell I have managed to do a lot of exploring.

Boardwalk Resort

This has been a crazy week at the boardwalk. I have worked many different shifts including opening, afternoons, and closing. Today, I worked in the ESPN shop from 11 to 6 pm. I opened the shop which is really easy to do. I usually close Sea Shore Sweets or On the Boardwalk shops. Those hours are 6 pm to 12 pm. Im getting used to all these different hours and long shifts.

I feel like I have gotten accustomed to work. Sometimes before work I will go to Epcot or Hollywood Studios because they both are located walking distance from the Boardwalk Resort. If anyone goes to Epcot, I recommend to go eat in Mexico.
